Here are several commonly used abbreviations that I hate with a fiery passion:
prego* -- pregnant
cukes -- cucumbers
hubby -- husband
*preggers is even worse. sometimes hearing it activates my gag reflex.

Agree! Being pregnant is such a beautiful/important thing, let's not compare it to a brand of pasta sauce.
